Role Description
Duties & Responsibilities
You will collaborate with experienced Amazon Data Technicians, following them during hardware and network troubleshooting and providing internal workforce support by resolving tickets related to hardware (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc.) and networking (Link Down, Optics Replacements, Switch Replacements, etc.). At all times you will be assisting an AWS experienced Data Technician.
Key Responsibilities- Hardware troubleshooting in servers not live with AWS Data Tech supervisor.
- Understand the importance of meeting SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets.
- Follow the AWS Data Tech during network troubleshooting.
- Replace media (SSD/HDD) according to AWS Data Tech guidance.
- Perform regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards, etc.) under guidance of experienced techs.
- Interact with third‑party vendors & contractors working on site.
