Role Description
Lead the School of Trades at Keyano College in Fort McMurray, Alberta, bringing strategic leadership and innovation to apprenticeship and workforce development programs.
As Dean, you will oversee academic planning, operational execution, and partnership collaboration. Your role encompasses guidance on apprenticeship programs, aligning education with industry needs, and expanding training pathways through strategic initiatives with local schools and employers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the School of Trades
• Oversee apprenticeship programming and partnerships with Alberta Industry Training
• Foster teaching innovation and quality aligned with market demands
• Build relationships with industry, government, and community partners
• Develop dual-credit and pre-apprenticeship programming for high school students
Requirements:
• Red Seal Journeyperson certification in a relevant trade
• Bachelor’s degree is an asset
