Role Description
Patient preparation for dental work Sterilizing and sanitizing equipment, arranging instrument trays, getting things ready, and helping with dental operations can all contribute to infection control. Assisting dentists as necessary to handle medical and dental emergencies. Helping dental hygienists when they need it with procedures.
Delivering excellent patient care. Updating patient records with therapy information. Dental x-ray equipment maintenance and exposure from dental diagnostics.
Providing patients with information about oral health care, plaque control strategies, and dental cleanliness. Collecting and documenting patient vital signs, medical, and dental histories. Delivering the dentists postoperative instructions.
