Designer

The Designer is responsible for creating end items and component math data (3D/2D) while receiving direction and guidance from the Program Engineers within the CAD environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Knowledgeable in automotive applications, assembly and component design (i.e., CAD Software, PLM Solutions), while still acquiring higher‐knowledge and skills.
Create and maintain 3D math data and 2D drawings as required for customer manufacturing and internal engineering standards.
Build knowledge in best practices, processes and customers through ongoing professional development.
Understand customer required standards/design guides and use this understanding to accomplish strategic objectives.
Understand Cooper Standard product lines outside of main discipline.
Creation of assembly and component drawings while utilizing internal and external resources which conform to customer and company standards/design guidelines.
