Role Description
Be part of the DI Nuclear Medicine team as a Technologist at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. This full-time position entails preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
In this role, you'll conduct more than 70 nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring compliance with Canadian health regulations. Your expertise in computer analysis and ability to manage emergencies will be crucial. You'll also perform quality assurance tasks on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, all while maintaining a high standard of care for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals safely
• Conduct regular quality checks on imaging and equipment
• Execute complex computer manipulations effectively
• Respond to emergency procedures outside of regular hours
