Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply the rules of professional conduct and ethics standards for professional accountants, including independence and conflicts of interest requirements.
• Deliver expertise in:
  • The Canadian CPA Rules of Professional Conduct, Codes of Professional Conduct, and Code of Ethics.
  • The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Ethics & Independence Rules.
  • The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) Auditor Independence Rules.
• Provide advice on and support team members with the adoption and implementation of practical solutions to ethical and professional conduct matters.
• Promote the importance of ethics to partners and other MNP team members across the Firm.
