Director of Production & Facility

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Production & Facilities is a full‑time, permanent role and core member of our team. We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about Theatre Network’s creative vision for all of our programming, from our Mainstage theatre productions to our additional hosted programming and visual art gallery. The successful candidate will prioritize mentorship, inclusivity, and creative risk, while taking pride in their work and the operations of the building as a whole. An effective communicator who believes in an alignment of the creative, technical, and administrative teams is at the top of our list.

The Job

• Acts as production manager for each of the company’s mainstage productions, for the company’s presentation of Nextfest, and for other activity as required.
• Manage a team of contract technicians in a non‑union environment, including hiring, training, professional development and scheduling.
