Director, Quality – Racks, Enclosures & Metal Mechanics,
What a typical day looks like:
Define and execute the Quality Engineering roadmap aligned with business and customer objectives.Oversee quality performance metrics (DPPM, FPY, scrap, OTD, COPQ) and drive corrective actions.Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.Implement and standardize quality systems (SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, APQP, PPAP).Ensure effective Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and sustainment.Drive supplier quality management: qualification, audits, development, and chargeback processes.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) ensuring robust validation and process readiness.Develop and manage inspection strategies (incoming, in-process, final) including automation (AOI).Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g....
