• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the client’s eyeglasses or contact lenses and, by measuring the client’s eye curvature, pupillary distance and bridge width, using optical measuring devices
• Obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from a prescription prepared by an ophthalmologist or optometrist
• Assist clients in selecting eyeglasses
• Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit client
