Driver Labourer - Solid Waste (up to 4)

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling, organic and garbage vehicles in a highly safety‑conscious manner
• Drive and operate recycling, organic and garbage vehicles
• Collect, load and unload leaf, brush, garbage, organics and recyclables
• Check, lubricate, refuel and clean equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the Supervisor
• Work in compliance with the Highway Traffic Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, reporting any deficiencies and unsafe conditions to the Supervisor
• Work in the spirit of team participation
• Perform varied tasks and duties within the Solid Waste Division as required

Qualifications

• High School (Grade 12) diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years experience driving and operating commercial vehicles and performing labour‑intensive duties
• Valid DZ License with a satisfactory driver’s abstract of no more than 3 demerit points
