Role Description
We are seeking a Drywall Installer for a full-time role paying $30.00 hourly. Join us for an immediate start in a supportive and diverse work culture.
This permanent position is ideal for individuals with at least one year of drywall installation experience and a secondary school certificate. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall, as well as preparing walls by filling joints and securing sheets properly. We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach, providing training and support for youth, Indigenous people, and newcomers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut and install metal corner beads on walls
• Fill nail indentations and cracks with compound
• Precisely measure and secure drywall sheets
• Use taping machine for smooth joints
• Finish with excess compound smoothing
