Role Description
Contribute to Elder care at Marshall Gowland Manor as a part time Registered Practical Nurse in Sarnia, ON. Lead your nursing team by assessing care needs and implementing effective treatment plans.
This role focuses on direct supervision of nursing activities, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for all residents. Your responsibilities include medication administration, communication with families, and assessments through the RAI-MDS tool. You will also be instrumental in mentoring students and guiding Personal Support Workers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and evaluate their effectiveness
• Keep detailed charts of care provided and incidents
• Educate and support Elders and families regarding care
• Complete RAI-MDS assessments as per schedule
• Supervise and mentor Personal Support Workers
Requirements:
• Must possess a Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
