Role Description
Join the Institute of Skilled Trades as a Faculty Member for the Electrical Construction and Industrial program. You will provide instruction, assess student progress, and ensure safety practices are maintained.
The successful candidate will have a current Inter-provincial Journeyperson status and at least five years of relevant experience in electrical construction. This role demands the ability to use various technologies, including learning management systems, for effective instruction in both in-class and online formats. You will also develop educational experiences and assist with curriculum changes to improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide practical and theoretical instruction in electrical trades
• Design engaging learning experiences for diverse learners
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Participate in program marketing and curriculum development
• Liaise with industry for work placements and feedback
