Role Description
Job Summary
The Electrical Designer will develop and prepare electrical drawings.
Job Duties- Develop and prepare detailed electrical engineering and construction installation drawings.
- Consult with lead engineers and review project shop drawings for design accuracy.
- Develop conceptual or detailed electrical designs in power distribution, lighting, low voltage systems instrumentation, and controls for a variety of industries.
- Develop control panel drawings consisting of PLC panel layouts and I/O schematics.
- Electrical design deliverables include electrical one lines, power and lighting plans, electrical site plans, area classification plans, and grounding plans.
- Develop Revit and AutoCAD 3D & 2D models.
- Apply thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other applicable building codes to design projects.
