Electrician

General Description

Reporting to the Director of maintenance, the Electrician will work as part of the maintenance team to operate, repair, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment and maintain resort facilities in a quick, efficient, and professional manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a general maintenance environment
• Previous preventative maintenance program experience an asset
• Previous experience in a hotel environment an asset
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship
• Experience working as an electrician
• Ability to read blueprints
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
