Job Description / Duties
- Assesses and processes human oocytes and sperm.
- Extracts and processes sperm from surgical procedures (TESE, PESA) for use in ICSI.
- Performs IVF, ICSI and embryo culture.
- Grades and selects embryos resulting from IVF/ICSI for transfer back to patients.
- Freezes human oocytes, embryos and sperm.
- Thaws and/or prepares frozen sperm for IUI, DI and IVF/ICSI.
- Warms and processes frozen oocytes for ICSI.
- Warms and processes frozen embryos for transfer to patients.
- Performs laser assisted hatching.
- Prepares and communicates laboratory testing and cycle outcome reports to patients and physician/nursing care teams.
