Role Description
Become a vital part of Fraser Health’s Trauma Service as an Emergency Medicine Trauma Specialist, where your expertise shapes patient outcomes. Engage in trauma care, education, and service management.
The RCH, recognized as a Level 1 Trauma centre, is on the lookout for a Trauma physician/surgeon to oversee the trauma service throughout the year. Responsibilities include daily in-house rounds, addressing trauma activations, and mentoring residents during rotations. This role also requires night calls during designated weeks and can extend into additional shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily rounds on trauma patients in-house
• Address trauma activation and consult requests promptly
• Supervise and educate resident and fellow trainees
• Participate actively in trauma committees and meetings
• Maintain regular on-call duties for trauma weeks

• Completion of a Trauma Fellowship and ATLS training
