In keeping with Alberta Health Services' Mission Statement and Values, and as an integral member of the Environmental Services Team, the Environmental Services staff is responsible for routine cleaning, collection of general waste and upkeep of the facility as well as all detailed or special cleanings in areas such as operating rooms, pharmacy, etc. Must follow Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards. The Environmental Services staff is responsible for performing other related duties as required. The Environmental Services staff daily routines and approaches at work are to produce a clean, safe, comfortable environment for patients, resident, visitors and staff. The Environmental Services staff must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and be respectful and compassionate in all interactions.
