Role Description
Job Summary
Operates heavy construction equipment, performing routine checks, attaching special attachments, and carrying out minor repairs. Works primarily during day shifts and weekends.
Education & Experience
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years in construction/heavy equipment operation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience, up to less than 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment.
- Operate computer-controlled equipment.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Secure special attachments to equipment.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment.
Equipment Operated
Backhoe excavator, loader.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
Attention to detail is required.
