The Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF/FCE) is a national alliance of provincial and territorial teachers’ organizations dedicated to strengthening high‑quality, inclusive, publicly funded education across Canada. Representing more than 370,000 teachers and education workers, the CTF/FCE advances equity, human rights, and social justice through national advocacy, research, public engagement, and collaboration with its Member and Associate Organizations. Since 1920, the Federation has played a unifying role in supporting educators and promoting public education as a cornerstone of Canada’s democracy.
The Executive Director serves as the Federation’s chief staff leader, responsible for delivering on the Federation’s strategy, advancing the collective strength and operational excellence of the organization, and fostering a unified, values‑driven culture.
