Role Description
Executive Pastry Chef (Mexico)Our client, one of the most luxurious resorts in Mexico requires a top-notch Executive Pastry Chef who will be responsible and oversee the preparation of high-quality pastry, desserts and bakery items for its fine dining restaurants and bars and catering. He/she will play a crucial role in maintaining the five star standards of the resort. He/she must establish consistency and creativity in all of the production of desserts, pastries, chocolates and viennoiserie and breads. Spanish speaker mandatory.Key Responsibilities:Menu creation and developmentProduction of all pastry items including cakes and tarts, chocolate,bread and specialty dessertsLead, train and mentor the team(pastry chefs,bakers and kitchen assistantsMaintain high quality standards in clenliness, safety and sanitation (HACCP certification)Manage inventory, track waste and collaborate with thge purchasing department and maintain budget controlWork closely with Front-of-house team and ensure g...
