Role Description
Egg Farmers of Canada is seeking an experienced Agricultural Economist for comprehensive data analysis. This role contributes to the evolution of Canada's egg industry through insightful research and reporting.
You will work closely with the Agricultural Policy and Costing team, undertaking critical analysis of cost production while interacting with various stakeholders. Your duties will include conducting market assessments, research on egg industry regulations, and ensuring data quality in reports produced by your team and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research for the cost of production studies
• Analyze and prepare reports on pricing and production
• Support the APC unit in achieving deliverables
• Provide oversight and training for team members
• Collaborate on developing effective data tools and processes
