Role Description
Advance your pipefitting career with Comec at the Cenovus Foster Creek SAGD facility near Cold Lake, AB. This position offers a 7/7 rotation, camp accommodations, and travel benefits.
Comec is looking to employ skilled Journeyperson Pipefitters for maintenance tasks at Cenovus Foster Creek. Successful applicants will carry a valid pipefitter ticket and have a background in SAGD facilities. You'll engage in vessel work, hydro testing, and rigorous safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct vessel and tank maintenance activities
• Perform hydro testing and fit-up
• Rig materials as needed for maintenance tasks
• Operate in confined spaces and at elevated heights
• Commit to a 7/7 work rotation
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Pipefitter/Steamfitter ticket needed
• Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Compulsory certifications: H2S Alive and CSTS 2020
• Proven experience in SAGD settings
• Expertise in safety protocols is critical
