Take your skills underground as an experienced Electrician in a major mining operation. This contract role in western Nunavut presents an opportunity to work in an exciting mining project setting.
We are looking for a proficient Red Seal Electrician or Journeyman with solid underground experience. Your responsibilities will include electrical installations, system maintenance, and safety compliance in a challenging work environment. The role demands physical fitness and adaptability for remote camp life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical installations and maintenance in mining
• Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure adherence to strict safety regulations
• Coordinate with other trades and mining staff
• Keep meticulous records of work completed
Requirements:
• Preferred Red Seal Electrician or equivalent experience
• Must have underground mining experience
• Common Core Training or equivalent certification needed
