Role Description
POSITION: FAMILY ACTIVITY CENTRE FACILITATOR (student)
HOURS OF WORK: variable up to 36.25 hours per week
LOCATION: Upper Canada Village (11 km east of Morrisburg)
SALARY: $18.45 per hour
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: June to August 2026
WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE? YOU WILL
Be a representative of one of Morrisburg’s premium and internationally recognized tourism sites.
Welcome guests to the Family Activity Centre at Upper Canada Village, orient them to the Centre, explain and animate the exhibits within the Centre and provide a variety of historical workshops and demonstrations using crafts, music, drama, games, tools and historical costumes.
Assist with Camp Counsellor duties as required.
Assist with school programs in May, June and September as required.
Work safely at all times and report unsafe activities immediately to your supervisor.
