Role Description
Overview
Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician for Masset on beautiful Haida Gwaii. The selected candidate can select the FTE that suits their lifestyle best.
Location: Masset, British Columbia, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Along with clinic work, family physicians work in the Emergency Department and cover hospital in-patients.
- On-call schedule: 24 hours, with the following morning allocated to walk-in appointments and the afternoon off for post-call.
- Weekend call is from Saturday morning to Monday morning with the rest of Monday booked off.
- The ER is low volume but frequently challenging given the remote location.
