We are looking for a family physician with rural and remote expertise for a 0.5 FTE role starting April 1, 2026. At Xaayda Gwaay Ngaaysdll Naay/Haida Gwaii Hospital, you will not only provide vital medical services but also become a part of a teaching facility mentoring future medical professionals. The position encourages participation in continuous education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered family medicine services
• Participate in a midwifery-led obstetrics model
• Conduct skills training and CME sessions weekly
• Teach and mentor medical practitioners and students
• Collaborate on community health initiatives and outreach
