Role Description
FedEx Canada is seeking a dedicated Package Handler to support freight operations by loading, unloading, and sorting packages efficiently. This is a physically demanding role requiring significant lifting abilities.
In this position, you will work directly with freight, ensuring compliance with operational standards and Canadian Customs regulations. Strong interpersonal skills will enhance your effectiveness in a diverse team environment. This role allows you to grow through required training and provides opportunities for advancement in logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently load and unload freight from transportation vehicles
• Accurately scan and sort packages in line with procedures
• Follow all relevant customs regulations closely
• Manage heavy lifting of packages, up to 150 lbs, safely
• Attend and successfully complete training programs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Familiarity with FedEx operations is an asset
