Financial Controller / Accounting Manager (Manufacturing/Life Science)

Our direct client is looking for a Hands‑on Financial Controller for a new full‑time direct hire in Mississauga, ON, Canada.

Role Overview

The position is a start‑up manufacturing role in the life sciences industry or food FDA raw material sector. The role combines cost accounting, controller and accounting management responsibilities.

Compensation

• Full‑time direct hire, onsite Monday – Friday
• Salary range: $135,000 – $155,000 + (potential additional incentives)

Responsibilities

• Own month‑end close, preparing and reviewing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and ensuring a clean trial balance.
• Build and lead a manufacturing cost accounting function from the ground up, including standard costing, BOM costing, WIP accounting, and inventory valuation.
