Fitness Instructor III - Zumba Instructor

The City of Abbotsford is looking for qualified, professional and knowledgeable Auxiliary Fitness Instructor III – Zumba Instructors to teach Zumba at the Abbotsford Recreation Centre and Matsqui Recreation Centre. The focus is to provide an excellent, energetic class for all participants for physical and mental health.

Under the supervision of the Fitness Supervisor team, the Fitness Instructor III – Zumba Instructor is responsible for planning and executing fitness classes within their scope of practice. The main focus areas for the Fitness Instructor III – Zumba Instructor is inclusiveness of all participants as well as safety. The City offers a variety of already designed and well attended drop-in as well as pre-registered classes that help keep the members of our city healthy and active. Classes take place in classrooms and weight rooms at the City’s recreation centres.
