Role Description
The position is responsible for the co-ordination, implementation and monitoring of food safety and quality assurance standards for the factory to ensure high quality and hygienic products for the customer. The Food Safety Coordinator will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and based in Tema.
Responsible for the execution and maintenance of the plant’s Food Safety Management System (HACCP program).
Perform daily monitoring of CCPs and OPRPs and take corrective action when necessary. This includes verifying CCP records and documenting findings in database.
Ensure the full implementation of the QMS procedures – Internal audit related to quality assurance and communicates proposed changes to the Management Representative. This includes the documentation and approval of procedures and work instructions, process forms, etc. as appropriate.
