Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with all warehouse procedures and policies.
• Operate all equipment safely.
• Unload and load paper products from railcars and trailers.
• Perform full/LTL truck transfers or unloadings.
• Document all product code numbers for bills of lading on outbound loads.
• Ensure product is properly packaged for outbound shipments.
• Assist with load transfers either by forklift or by hand.
• Track all product movement in the warehouse.
• Complete racking/forklift inspections and employee production sheets daily.
• Maintain general housekeeping.
• Submit forklift inspection and employee workload sheets / computer logs to supervisor.
• Work on different current customer accounts as needed.
• Engage in additional activities assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
