Responsibilities
- Work as part of a cross‑categorical Learning Support Team with an inclusion mindset and a strength‑based, trauma‑informed approach.
- Support classroom teachers and support staff in enabling student access to learning for learners exhibiting unique learning needs, including:
- Students struggling with academics or behaviour but with no formal Ministry designation.
- Students with a Ministry of Education Inclusive Education designation.
- English Language Learners.
- Provide direct, intensive instruction in reading, writing, and numeracy to supplement classroom teachers.
