Role Description
Become a vital part of Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital as a full-service Psychiatrist. Deliver comprehensive mental health care through collaboration with community partners and physicians in a supportive environment.
This role encompasses a blend of responsibilities, including handling on-call services, in-patient consultations, and out-patient assessments. You will contribute to strategic planning and quality enhancement for psychiatric services. Enjoy ongoing teaching opportunities in a collaborative practice atmosphere while assisting in the improvement of community mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-call psychiatric coverage (1 in 4)
• Consult with medical staff and regional partners
• Conduct consultations for out-patients effectively
• Take part in administrative and strategic activities
