Full-Time Central Control Operator Position

Role Description
Join the City of Winnipeg as a Central Control Operator 1 at 510 Main Street. This role requires you to oversee system operations and alarms on a 24/7 basis.
As a full-time operator, you will be responsible for managing critical systems related to building operations and safety across city facilities. You will also facilitate communication between crews and assist with emergencies. Ideal candidates should have a valid 5th Class Power Engineer’s Certificate, experience in facility maintenance, and strong organizational skills to manage various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess system alarms continuously
• Manage CCTV and access control systems
• Respond to service requests from city staff
• Conduct necessary tests on building systems
• Carry out operational tasks as assigned
