Role Description
Contribute to public works operations as a full-time assistant. Collaborate with staff on equipment maintenance and water treatment systems while managing your schedule effectively.
As a permanent member of the Public Works department, you will report to the Chief Administrative Officer while engaging in various tasks related to public infrastructure. This role requires participating in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends. You will have hands-on responsibilities, working with contractors and maintaining essential equipment for community services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduling
• Maintain equipment and upkeep logs
• Liaise with contractors and sales personnel
• Operate heavy equipment and gain required certifications
• Run reverse osmosis water treatment facilities
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver's license required
• Must provide a criminal record check
