Role Description
Become part of a healthcare team as a full-time Visiting Nurse (RN or RPN) in Kirkland Lake. Deliver compassionate care while managing wound care and IV treatments for clients in your community.
As a Visiting Nurse, you'll provide essential nursing services including wound care management, IV antibiotic administration, and patient support in schools. The role combines both independent work and teamwork, emphasizing strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience is preferred, but your enthusiasm and ability to build relationships will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for client needs with a focus on wound care management
• Administer IV treatments and manage CVAD care
• Report and coordinate with the HCCSS (LHIN)
• Support students in schools and provide updates on client progress
• Travel between clients in the community
