Role Description
Join a community-based team in Orillia as a General Internal Medicine Specialist, providing comprehensive in-patient and out-patient services. Engage with patients through daily rounds and contribute to hospital committees.
This role includes daily patient care and facilitating timely discharges. You will also teach during rounds and maintain an active office practice within the community. Responding promptly to ER consultations is a key part of the position, alongside participating in local medical quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily patient rounds and discharge facilitation
• Participate in hospital specialty committees
• Engage in teaching rounds and support community health
• Respond to ER consultation requests timely
• Maintain a community office practice
Requirements:
• Unrestricted CPSO license for Ontario
• Fellowship in Internal Medicine from RCPSC
