General Internist (200-1573) (Locum Specialty)

A variety of opportunities exist for general internal medicine locum work at Cowichan District Hospital, located in the Cowichan Valley mid-way between Victoria and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Locum work would be predominantly inpatient-based and free of any overhead costs. Shifts could span anywhere from 2 or more consecutive days to longer-term or recurring arrangements. Scheduling is generally flexible based on locum availability.

Our local -bed acute care facility, Cowichan District Hospital, boasts an exceptionally collegial and supportive medical community. Construction is underway for the new CDH replacement project that is projected to open in with beds, including 6 ICU and 8 HAU beds under the oversight of the Internal Medicine service.
