Job Overview

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a General Radiologist with a specialty in Nuclear Medicine. Candidates will practice both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology, including PET/CT, US, CT, MRI, general radiology and other areas of interest.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical imaging procedures in radiology and nuclear medicine. Provide interpretation of PET/CT, US, CT, MRI, and general radiology studies. Engage in minor interventional procedures. Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and manage patient imaging workflow.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in both Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
• Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
