Role and Facility Information
The Division of General Surgery at ARHCC and Fraser Health Authority are looking to hire an acute care general surgeon to join the group, including one existing ACS surgeon. The candidate will be proficient in a broad range of acute care general surgery, emergent endoscopy, and comfortable with trauma surgery. As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of General Surgery, UBC.
Call Schedule
The group currently has eight general surgeons servicing the busy catchment area of Fraser East. Call is structured as weeks using an acute care surgery model.
