Role Description
We are SLR Consulting (Canada), an 800+ team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. As our new GIS Specialist, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.
Role
Working within a team of GIS professionals, you’ll provide GIS support services to our various offices and technical disciplines across Canada, for a wide variety of environmental projects. Success in this role will depend on your ability to work on multiple projects at any given time, your strong communication skills, and solid understanding of environmental data and terminology.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support with mapping requests.
- Design and maintain environmental databases.
- Support user requests related to new or revised reports, queries, views, and dashboards.
- Interact with SLR’s ArcGIS Online based data collection and data visualization applications.
