Role Overview
Health, Safety, & Environmental (HS&E) Coordinator – Buildings Division responsible for ensuring safety compliance on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety orientations, job site inspections, and accident/injury reports.
- Organize and conduct training programs (WHMIS, Fall Protection, PPE, CPR/First Aid).
- Monitor employees and subcontractors on-site to ensure compliance with safety procedures and address issues.
- Identify and mitigate hazardous situations, delegating and influencing others to follow safety rules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years experience managing health and safety in construction.
- Certified member under the Occupational Health & Safety Act/Regulations or in pursuit, with experience on large‑scale construction sites. National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certificate preferred.
