We are recruiting an RN/LPN to add to a nursing team caring for a pediatric client for 1–2 4‑hour evening shifts per week. This job entails providing 1:1 respite care in the home environment, monitoring and caring for the child with medical needs. Paid training is provided at BC Children’s Hospital to learn the care of Peritoneal Dialysis.

Shifts are flexible and can be scheduled around another job.

Duties include: medication administration, personal care, assessments, G‑tube care, and monitoring and use of medical devices (peritoneal dialysis). The nurse may be responsible for the care of the child so the parents can have a break.

Care will be provided in the child’s home and/or surrounding community. <...
