  The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of Residential Real Estate Appraisal (221-008-LA)

The goal of this course is to enable students to estimate adequately the market value of a property according to three distinct approaches. The broker’s skill in analyzing the real estate market, his/her technical knowledge, his/her qualitative assessment of the property and, above all, the precision in calculating the value, will make him/her an indispensable advisor in a real estate transaction that is based on transparency. This course will also introduce students to real property concepts and characteristics, legal considerations, influences on real estate values, types of value, economic principles, market area analysis, highest and best use, and ethical considerations providing a solid foundation in basic appraisal principles.
