Job Description
This position is a plant-wide role, responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and fostering a health, safety and environmental focused culture across all departments of the factory. This leader will oversee a team of HSE professionals to ensure all programs are effectively implemented.
Responsibilities
Provide direction and achieve EHS objectives in the Plant.
Accountable for managing initiatives to maintain an accident/incident-free plant.
Lead environmental processes to ensure company and regulatory requirements are met in relation to hazardous/special waste management, materials recycling, water discharge and air permitting obligations.
Supervise EHS federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and risk mitigation initiatives; analyze potential impacts on operations; provide management information as appropriate.
Be a positive coach, observer, trainer, and main point of contact for EHS vision and assistance.
