In-house Legal Counsel (Procurement & Commercial)

Vancouver | 6–10 Years ZSA is working with a well‑established and fast‑growing Canadian tech company, a true tech unicorn success story, now looking to expand its in‑house legal team. This role will focus primarily on vendor management, procurement, and SaaS agreements, while also supporting broader business needs across customer support and other operational teams. The company has a strong existing compliance and procurement function, allowing this lawyer to focus on more strategic and complex matters, with the opportunity to build out a team over time. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of commercial experience, strong business judgment, and experience advising in a SaaS or technology environment. Exposure to AI‑related issues, including data retention and AI training considerations, is preferred, though deep AI specialization is not required.
