Role Description
Support Indigenous wellness initiatives as a Policy Analyst in Treaty #3 Territory, focusing on culturally grounded health policies and community collaboration. Bring expertise in health policy analysis and relationship building to advance the Indigenous Healing and Wellness Strategy.
As the Indigenous Healing and Wellness Policy Analyst, you will report to the Manager of Health Policy and Governance. This role emphasizes developing annual work plans, analyzing provincial policies, and representing Treaty #3 in various forums. Your contribution will ensure that community perspectives influence health transformation efforts throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop annual work plans to track IHWS initiatives
• Prepare policy proposals and facilitate stakeholder discussions
• Monitor provincial and federal legislation impacting Treaty #3
• Represent Treaty #3 at national and regional forums
• Coordinate inter-ministerial engagement for policy alignment
