This full-time position will enhance the SLRD's efforts in fostering respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, under the guidance of the Indigenous Relations Advisor. You'll be responsible for project oversight, organizing educational sessions, and creating events that promote understanding and collaboration among staff and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute initiatives that promote Indigenous relations
• Organize community-building events and workshops
• Oversee projects related to Indigenous engagement
