Role Description
This Indigenous Student Employment Program is open to students who self‑declare as Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit, Métis). It provides practical, career‑related experience in research, development, engineering, technology, administration, library science, computer science, trades, business, finance, human resources, and other professions.
City: Multiple NRC Offices across Canada
Classification: Student
Duration: Approximately 16 weeks (four months). Full‑time during a non‑academic semester and part‑time during an academic semester.
Work Arrangements: Positions may be eligible for a hybrid arrangement (on‑site and telework) depending on the nature of the work. Teleworkers must travel to the designated site at least three times per week (minimum 60% of the work schedule). Exceptions may be granted to accommodate Indigenous candidates’ community connections.
